My lasting and enduring love is
needlework of just about any kind. Quilting is an especial favorite but needlepoint,
smocking, fine sewing , hardanger, cross stitch, knitting, crochet, drawn thread, cutwork,
etc. all have entertained me for the last 30 years.. I learned the hard way for a great
many years -- finding books and following the diagrams -- as I didn't have any contacts
that could teach me. When I found the Embrodierer's Guild of America with dozens of members who could show me
how to do the stitches I knew better and teach me lots I didn't know, I thought I had
found heaven.
